Two problems with Flash Video: First Frame and not hiding

Hi all,

This is the set up.

Three streaming Flash videos on a page.

Glossary links on the page that launch a pop-up.

Problem One

No matter what the first frame of the video, it shows as a black when on the page in Lectora.

Problem Two

I've worked around problem one by:

1. Making the video initially hidden.

2. Putting a fake video *image* on top

3. Showing the video on click.

This works fine until the user stops a video and open up the glossary window. Then no matter what I do, the video stays on top and obscures the glossary window.

I've tried "hiding" the video on click and various other actions... but, once shown, the video remains visible and a top of whatever is shown.
