I was able to replicate your problem. What I had to do was put my laptop in low speed settings (like I use on an airplane to save power). Then I hear the double clicking. When I go back to full power, they go away. This implies that whatever cues the sound is happening twice but so close together that only one sound is heard. I would send this in to support. I don't know what causes the clicking sound in the first place else I might have a start.luck, ben
