Tree navigation with LMS

Hi,

as you know, Lectora is (to my knowledge) not able to organize AUs in a tree structure. So navigation within an LMS is always flat. I used the Reload Scorm Editor to extend the imsmanifest with a lot of new items. Now I have multiple AUs and an additional structure level per AU. So the manifest follows a simple chapter structure like 1, 1.1, 1.2... 2, 2.1, 2.2 ... and so on. The navigation tree works fine with the reload editor and also with another tool called tiny LMS, but within the target platform I got error messages (I think initialization errors). The errors occur at the second level of the tree structure. The new items in the manifest are of asset type.

So do you have any experience with the implementation of tree navigation structures?

Are there any other recommendations instead using the reload editor?

Do I have to embed additional API calls per page to avoid the error messages?

Are there any recommendations for debugging tools or test platforms, because I'm not sure if the target LMS is working properly....

Thx for any help.

Michael
