Transitions

The transition in works when the object is shown. If it is initially visible, then the transition runs when the page is shown. If the object is NOT initially visible, then it will NOT run until there is some action like on a button that shows the object.

The transition out works when the object is hidden. This happens either when the user goes to the next page (the current page hides and therefore all the objects on the page hide) OR an action on the page hides the object. Lots of times people will have actions on a picture. When the user moves the mouse over the pic a text box shows (On Mouse Enter action) and when the mouse moves off the picture the text box hides (On Mouse Exit action).
