I create a monthly newsletter in lectora, and recently was asked to include a feature where readers could recommend articles to future readers by clicking on a button within the newsletter. The newsletter is stored on one of our servers, however it is not accesible via our LMS. At first glance the functionality seems to work, I click that I want to recommend an article and it appears that the numbers are adding up on both the page the article is located and also on the front page.
The problem is, the numbers aren’t carrying over from user to user, so it's not tracking my responses or visa versa when I look at the newsletter after another reader.
Does anyone know of anyway that the tally will carry over from user to user? I hope that I'm explaining this correctly. If not please feel free to let me know.
