ToC with randomized questions

Hello, I noticed that when I randomize the test questions (either the entire test or just some sections), the ToC will no longer show the pages. I believe this is because the ToC gets created during the publishing process and not at runtime. However, the random pages get selected when launching the course (or when entering the test?). But the ToC is static.

Any idea how to realize a ToC for a Lectora title with randomized questions in a test / test section?

Thanks for sharing thoughts and ideas around that topic.

I'm a little unclear, are you saying that you have your test included/showing to the page level on your TOC and when you randomize the test the test pages do not show up on the TOC or all of the pages?

Can I ask why you would want your test pages or test on the TOC? Typically I never include this because it encourages or allows users to jump directly to the Test and skip the content. Also I would think you would never want or need users to jump to a specific page in the test from the TOC because think about it, they would never actually get the same question on the test page anyway. It would make sense to me that the test pages don't show on the TOC because they are being randomized each time so what was page 2 today might be page 4 tomorrow..

Hi Karen,

yes, I want to display a ToC with all test questions that were selected for the user (out of a pool of questions). This is a test only - so no other content is in the title. The ToC should also display/indicate, which questions were already answered and which ones are not yet answered or incorrect. This allows the learner to skip a question - if he/she does not know the answer right away - and then come back a couple of minutes later to the one question, that he/she skipped before.

Any solution for that?

Thx. Oli

I picked the brain of a couple of Trivantis folks and nothing is coming to mind.
