Thanks for the live stream!

Thanks a bunch to the Trivantis folks who made the keynote address available for those of us who couldn't get to the conference. We managed to catch about 45 minutes of Elliott Masie's talk, but only because we experienced exactly what Elliott described when trying to get a fix for his cappucino machine - our IT department has locked down pretty much everything, and while we can access trivantis.com, we realized too late that the live stream host was blocked.
I called the help desk and luckily a friend answered - yay!- who was sympathetic, but couldn't help. But she would page another tech who could. He called me back - yes! not email! - and spent several minutes trying to manually un-block us. No luck, although he explained why it was un-blockable. However, as we parted, he made an "suggestion" for a work around. It worked great, so we got to enjoy Elliott's stories and insights.
I know we would have missed out if it were not for "live" interaction with people who were happy to share their expertise and solve a problem. Just have to know who to call! Now, how to capture all that organizational knowledge and make it available to anyone else in a siloed org . . .?
