Text on top of semi-transparent PNG knocks out a hole in EXE??

Having an issue in Lectora 10 with our published executable file. We have a background image that is on every one of our lessons in this file. When we have text on the screen we use a semi-transparent black PNG shape behind the text to make it easier to read. We also have a semi-transparent black bar across the bottom of each slide with the navigation elements on it. This works out fine in our published HTML version, but when publised to EXE, every text box on top of a semi-transparent PNG knocks out the PNG behind it. So in other words, the size of your text box in Lectora (even if it's much larger than the actual text in it) is knocked out. Only in the EXE version. Is there a workaround for this?

Also, we have automated page numbering on each slide. If you populate this with placeholder numbers, the auto numbering works fine in HTML or EXE. BUT...in the HTML version when you click on the next slide you briefly see those placeholder numbers before the next page loads (we don't want that). So I deleted the placeholder numbers and just left the auto numbering boxes there with the right font and color applied to them (Bank Gothic, white). This makes everything work wonderfully in the HTML version. However, when published to EXE, those page numbering boxes revert to Times New Roman black and a much smaller font than we assigned. Anybody know why this is?

So two annoying things happening. The EXTRA odd thing in both of those that I'm noticing is that the areas it knocks out actually have the proper transparency shown behind them, but the areas around the text boxes are twice as dark as they should be in the EXE. I've attached a couple examples. Any help is much appreciated!

How about publishing to HTML and then packing it to exe with a 3rd-party software like appjs, tideSDK or ChromiumEmbedded?

Looking for Lectora-based answers first. Our hands are severely tied as we are working on military networks and only certain pieces of software are allowed. Good thought, though.

Ignore that. This is a spammer who posted these smileys and broken links all over the forum. So much for having to enter mathematical captcha on every post for the past few days :/ Admin fail.

Hey,

I have also encountered this issue, but now with Lectora version 11.3.2.

But in all production platforms, being Firefox, Chrome, IE (Latest), .exe and every preview option in Lectora itself.

@brentd did you have any luck with the transparency issue since your last post?

Created slide where I have a base pic that is the most back layer, then created pic from a small portion of that same pic that is the very top layer, then I have a pic that is one layer behind this top layer pic, to make it look like it slides into a slot.

When I put them in place on the static slide it looks fine, BUT I have the pic of the SIM Card MOVE from a starting position to the position where it should end up and appear to be sliding into/under the top layer, and when I run it the transparency seems to go away and the edge/corner of the top pic no longer seems to be acting transparent, so it cuts a slice out of the SIM Card pic, as if the background of that top layer is no longer transparent, even though prior to entering the RUN mode, it seems to appear correctly i.e. transparent in the areas of the pic where it is actually transparent.

Not sure why this is happening, anyone know why this happens?
