Text box alignment
April 24, 2013 12:00 AM
I'm new to Lectora, this forum, and still learning about Lectora (Lectura Enterprise Edition).
I just finished a simple title that included a line of text with a text box (500 characters plus a scroll bar) below that line of text.
The titled published just fine on my computer. Everything aligned and worked as planned. When I e-mailed the published title to another user, the text boxes did not align under the line of text. The line of text did not move; the text boxes moved down.
When I copied the title to a flash drive and accessed it from that flash drive at work and at work, it worked just fine. When I e-mailed it to my home computer, it did not work - the text boxes moved down.
As long as I stay with my computer it works fine. When I e-mail the title to someone else or have them access it from a flash drive, none of the text boxes align under the line of text.
I used the Size/Position Locked function for the text and the text box but the problem remains.
Any advice as to what I need to do would be welcome and much appreciated.

maybe:
1. display control panel is set to display the size of text on your screen bigger; windows 7 options: smaller = 100%, medium = 125%, larger = 150%. If you set it to medium, it will push the text down compared to one PC set to 100%.
2. viewing the page at zoomed view.

"Thanks for replying. I'll give it a try. Sounds almost too easy."
