Text Block and Equtions

Hi,

I am developing a course which has loads of fractions. There are couple of issues with Lectora Text Block that I am facing.

1) I have inserted Lectora Equations within Text Block, below is issue with it:

The Fraction is bottom aligned to adjacent text which doesn't appear as normal text, it almost looks like exponent.

If I try to format it by reducing font height the numerator and denominator stick to each other.

Can we make the fraction size same as normal text without distorting it ?

2) Text Block with two line text in Lectora when viewed in some browsers (Firefox 32.0) is rendered as three line text.

There are lot of text aligning issues due to this.

Please let me know if there are any solutions to these issues.

Thanks & Regards,

Usama

Hi Sergey,

Thanks for replying.

I agree the second issue can be resolved by increasing width of the Text Block. However I need background images for text and the text at times goes beyond that background. Due to this I have to have background with extra height also this does not look perfect.

If formatting is an issue, you can render the text as an image (text undefined check "convert to image")

I don't think this is a good solution, but the way text renders can really vary by browser. Converted text can't be read by a screen reader, so accessible alternatives are needed.

The second problem is usually solved by making the text box a little bit wider.

Sorry, cannot say anything about the Equation Editor, never used it really.
