Test result: Change wording of 'FAILED'
May 9, 2014 12:00 AM
I've created a test with a passing score of 75%.
When the student finished the test with a score of 60% it says:
FAILED
This is right. However, we don't want to block cap the student with FAILED. How do I change the wording so it's not so confrontational? I want to customize that response. I've not found anywhere in the test settings to change this.
I have Publisher version 9.0 SP3.

From the properties within the test chapter, locate 'results' and check customize results. In your title, you should see a new 'page' at the end of your test called Test Results. Open the page to edit the PASSED/FAILED/Not Graded text.
This text is found in the Publish Stings.
Go to File> Lectora Preferences> Publish Strings.
Then scroll down to the text "FAILED" and change it.
