Test not scoring in Lectora 11
February 24, 2013 12:00 AM
Since upgrading to Lectora 11 yesterday, I'm no longer able to publish from Lectora Inspire to Coursemill. An error appears saying that the test is not scoreable. However, under the results tab I have the test set to be graded, and for the lowest passing score to be 75%. We have never had this issue over the past 2 years I have been designing...until the upgrade, and it has affected all of our e-learning as any newly published courses will not score. Is there a new setting that needs to be changed in Lectora 11 in order for a test to be scored? Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated, as this technical issue is halting all e-learning projects.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm assuming you are working with a title built in vX and opened in v11. If that's the case, can you tell me if you happen to have a Short Answer, Essay, or Likert question in your test?
Check that the point value for these types of questions are set to 0 on the Question's Properties Ribbon. If they aren't set to 0, Lectora will throw an error when you try to publish to SCORM (or CourseMill).
There may be an issue with converting these point values from legacy titles, and our Test department is researching this now.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks,
Laura
Yes, this is exactly what was wrong. We have an essay at the end of each test, so the user can provide feedback. The essay was set to the point value of 1, which is why the course wouldn't score.
