The feature of the TOC itself allows navigation to the pages either inside the chapter/ session or entire title.To come back to TOC page, you need to locate TOC on top of the parent layer with "intial visible & always on top" as setting of the TOC component.For your second inquiries, so far as I know each of pages can consist of their variable mode set to '1' to track the user navigation of the chapter.This must come with one more action whereby the conditions of total page variable=1.Hope this can help...I am still wondering why TOC can't feedback a value. Maybe initial variable need to plan inside every pages.
