Still don't understand your reasoning.All objects ARE unique, but the OBJECT name should be determined by the referenced resource, NOT by the object (page placeholder) itself.You issue a new number for every object on a page. That should only occur if there are MULTIPLE objects on a page referencing the same resource, that way there would be an 'assumed' inheritance - managed by the program. For instance, insert a graphic onto a page, reference an already imported picture, and that page object assumes the object name assigned to the same referenced picture on an earlier page. Psuedo inheritance managed by the program.That way if the same picture is used on only two pages of a one hundred page course, it doesn't have to be positioned at the root of the course and specifically disinherited from the rest of the chapters/sections/pages.You have to agree that there's some logic to that approach, don't you?
