Subtract from string variable

You probably already know this stuff but:1. Check out the code Lectora creates when you use the Page numbering tool on the tool menu. You can see from there how to create a string with numbers and letters.2. If you mean by "input numbers as a characters in a string" that you want the learner to enter them on the screen, then use the entry box in the forms toolbar. It has a small "ab" in a box. It has a variable associated with it that you can see in the properties when you create it. You can change that name to something more friendly. Use Underscores for a complex name as blanks are not allowed. When the learner enters something in the box, then you can access it via that variable. luck, benEdited By: bpitman on 2005-12-15 23:37:7
