Submit Custom Form details to godaddy email/web hosting service, How?
December 21, 2013 12:00 AM
Hi Folks,
We have our email/web hosting service on GoDaddy. Here is what we want to do.
We have the Course module done & published as .exe which the end-user runs.
Requirement:
1. User fills a standard custom form capturing details like: Name/Email/Phone/Comments.
2. Click on SUBMIT button
3. Details of (1) should be sent to our email (Ex: info@abc.com, our email/web-hosting is on GoDaddy)
How can this be achieved? Use"Submit forms to CGI Program" (or) "Email Form" option?
Thanks
Discussion (2)
Hi All,
Ok, I saw in Godaddy (Filemanager), there exists some relevant files:
1. gdform.php (has GET, POST method code)
2. webformailer.php (This I believe is only for any web forms on our website)
Just wondering how can I use all this infrastructure code and have all the form details from published .exe to our email ID having its web/email hosting on Godaddy
Thanks
Dear All- Wondering if my problem statement/requirement I mentioned in above posts is not solvable?
Am I the only one with such requirement (or) is it a too naive requirement & solution is already known
Thanks
