Software - Lectora Integrator

I use it frequently. It does great with text, not so much with graphics. Here's how.1. I develop the background/page layout in Lectora. 2. Take a screen snapshot of just the background and put it in as the background in the Integrator.3. Using the same font and size as I will in the final course, develop the storyboard or have my subject matter experts develop one using the PowerPoint. They all have Powerpoint. Use the Title block in PowerPoint for the title but keep it reasonable as it will become the page name in Lectora as well as the title.4. It goes back and forth between us till everyone is satisfied.5. Make a copy of the storyboard and strip all the graphics.6. Use the integrator and import into 1024 x 768. Otherwise it may change placement or font size. The resulting pages are all nicely named. The text boxes may not be precisely where I want them.7. Copy and paste the pages into my target Lectora title.8. Add the original graphics. If you drew stuff in PowerPoint, copy to the clipboard and use SnagIt to get nice dithered graphics in Lectora. Pasting as gif or jpg does not result in very good images in 2006 or 2007.On a 30 page course this can save several hours and make life a lot easer and help your clients/SMEs more easily visualize the course.
