Setting video controls to none doesnt remove the controls any more!

Does any one know if this has been fixed, I am on version 12.0.0. Really need to force the learner to watch the video in full and not have the ability to skip it.

Really annoyed at this update (from 11 to 12), also had to rework transition timings and bullets!

I set the video controls to None, and it removed the controls. I just did a quicky test by publishing to HTML. Not sure what you are publishing to, though.

I did, however, have a problem when opening the module in Chrome. In IE, I could click the video to toggle between pause/play - this happened automatically. Chrome, however, does not function in that manner - nothing happens to the video when a user clicks on it. FYI.

MP4 are the standard for the web, so you should ask your IT to add MP4 MIME TYPE to the LMS webserver configuration to allow it. WMV is certainly not the best format for web video.

We are using WMVs, support did tell me that MP4s work with no controls, and when running locally it worked but the mp4s didnt work in our lms. I have since figured how to remove the controls via the javascript file in the scorm package so its fine, on to the next problem....

Yes MP4s are HTML5 standard for the web and work on most devices.

The issue I was having in the LMS was it couldnt access the MP4s (again a possible lectora play issue). But when you are working in large organisation that has a few legacy systems and the need to work on IE8 WMV is the way to go...

Its annoying how WMVs worked in V11 of the software with controls turned off and now they do not.

And you dont know our IT!
