Seriously!

That's it...after a day of trying to sort out a Lectora file that originally started in v.10 and was then ported to v.11 we've had to export it as XML and reimport back to v.10 again....so, back to the start essentially.

V.11 has caused us nothing but problems - line spacing simply is wrong and has taken hours to try and sort out so it looks OK when published...the text on screen is not the same as when published (and don't tell me it's all because of HTML5), scroll bars on text boxes don't work anymore and no amount of messing about has acheived anything but frustration, shapes drawn in Lectora don't have a border anymore (try drawing a simple transparent box with a light grey border to frame something...). Seriously, we're reverting back to V.10 for all development and thinking about other options - Articulate anyone?

Very, very frustrated with the new version of Lectora which is a real shame as up to now we were big advocates and will be advising the rest of our region (that's 30+ licences) to avoid upgrading to v.11 for the time being.

Not a good start to the weekend!

Haven't made the jump to v11 yet, we're still validating. BUT, I've seen what you're describing in x.5 also. Almost always with text. Looks good in edit and preview, not as good after publish. weird line breaks, spacing, etc.

I found different browsers rendered things differently. Not saying it's not an v11 problem, mind you. Any change when you view with different browsers?

So...stick with Lectora despite spending money on a retrograde upgrade then? Too be honest the budget has been blown, so it'll be a case of sticking with v.10 until a patch is release for v.11.

Articulate is just as good at advertising and just as bad at delivering as other rapid authoring tool companies.
