Searchable Media Library

Lectora's Media Library seems much less functional than it could/should be.

It locks me out of:

1) adding keywords to existing media

2) and adding keywords to new media

Also,

3) The Media Library doesn't read/index metadata keywords that I've manually added to the media through third-party means. I've tried both general keywords and IPTC keywords. No dice. Is Lectora's keyword schema proprietary?

4) And Lectora's media metadata is not readable in standard media tools (fx. photoshop)

Am I missing something?

If not, there appear to be significant productivity hiccups with an expandable media library that isn't keyword-searchable - especially when we're looking to significantly expand our media library and share it among a design/development team.
