Seamless Play Video Popup on iOS
June 1, 2017 12:00 AM
Has anyone experienced this? Specifically, here's the issue (and it's on iOS only, and it's not on all devices).
On a mobile page, when a user clicks a button that navigates them back to the top of the page, it causes a blue screen video player to pop-up on iOS. This doesn't happen on Android.
Any ideas why this may be happening?

I saw a similar issue to the one you're describing where a customer was publishing to a mobile LMS. The resolution was to disable the seamless play option. It was causing the course to continually look for a title level action that in turn caused a blue screen. Do you have seamless play turned on?
When you talk about compression...check this..
http://community.trivantis.com/shared-content/image-compression-in-and-for-lectora/
Factor 10x in Kb compression...
Also do watch you donot scale images in Lectora down, because the unneeded kbs do count too...
Some extra winpoints you could achieve by either using svg for icons or elements that need to be small in kb's..
or the use of Fontawesome icons ( http://fontawesome.io/ ) might help scale down your kb-use.
Especially Fontawesome is largely used nowadays by mobile bootstrap developers...

Hey, Jennifer,
Yes, I currently have Seamless Play turned on as it seems to load course content much faster than without it turned on. Perhaps there are other options to speed up course loading times like compressing images a bit more.
Thanks for your response. I did submit a support ticket, but havent heard back quite yet.
I'll update this thread if there is a resolution worth posting.
Thanks again
