AndyP, I don't think that is going to work unless they have IIS running on their machine....which is EXACTLY what I would do.This will require a modification of the OS installation on the machines they are taking the test on. Assuming they are XP machines, go to the OS disk and install IIS. Then write a CGI script that writes the file to an Access database that also has to be installed on the machine. The access db can then be emailed.One point I should make though, is that if these machines are repurposed and put hardwired full time data network that is on the Internet, these machines become webservers so you need to disable IIS or take it off when the machines are repurposed.
