Running Captivate FIles

I have 8 .SWF files that I want to have run in succession or be selected through the menu. I placed each one on a separate page and have a menu linking to each one. After adding the Animations, I tried to run it and after the first one finished, the whole things jsut paused and would not go to the second page. So I added an action that says "when done playing, go to next page".Now when I run it, the animation just begins and it automatically goes to the next page without completing the animation. What am I doing wrong?
