Thanks for the quick reply! I am indeed setting CurTopic at the title level. I have an action group that sets and writes all of the dynamic fields and I run the group when I change topics or lessons. I wanted to get away from hardcoding the topic name (at the subtopic level), but sounds like I might not be able to. Just a thought...is there a way to determine parent/child relationships in Lectora? As for our SMEs having Lectora...We end up exporting the s'boards as an exe and html. There's a TOC with lessons and topics and the SMEs navigate to each through the TOC. They navigate through the individual pages with next and prev buttons...yep, we're essentially building a working course. Personally, I think Lectora is overkill (and quite expensive) for s'boarding, but unfortunately, it's not my call. I'd prefer to use PPT.Thanks again for the quick reply!Tony
