Researching Lectora -- will it do what I need?

Hi,

This is my first posting so I hope that this type of question is ok on the forum. I am looking for some guidance/help in determining if Lectora will meet my needs and those of my clients. I have never used Lectora and would like to learn more, but first trying to figure out if it's the right tool.

More and more I am being asked to develop eLearning that can run on an iPAD and accessed through an LMS. The research I have done so far indicates that Lectora can publish to HTML5 and thus, the modules can be viewed on an iPAD.

Is this accurate?

Can I record software simulations using Lectora - or do I record them using another tool, publish them to MP4 or another format and then import them into Lectora? (I mainly develop software simulations using Adobe Captivate now.)

Can I include interactivity in a Lectora course that is published to HTML5 and runs on the iPAD - e.g., in a course about Safari, can user tap the X button to close a tab. Or do I have to demo that for them?

Can I publish the same module to be viewed on an iPAD and also to be viewed on a laptop in IE8?

I do have more questions so if there is a better place to post them or call, please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your help and time!

Michele
