I partially agree with you john.Note that the speed of raptivity is in the fact that not only the basic mechanism (don't know how to actually translate that) is done for you, but the graphics as well. To actually make something similair and pretty takes you a large amount of time, even if the basics are done for you.Add to that the fact that raptivity already has a huge library of example's and interactivities and you might understand why some builders use it.I however totally agree with you when you state that using confirmed templates is much more cleaner AND more in your own control for you are the owner, builder and designer. This gives you the advantages that you can build ANY functionality you desire without limitations, as long as you are able to build it in terms of knowledge.The biggest advantage of rapid eLearning tools are the fact that they are rapid, and in general always faster than a do-it-yourself solution.By the way, the same would somehow apply to LMS's.
