Randomization of initial value of variable

I've been setting up complex calculations in a course which has learners determining the area of a circle and a rectangle, the velocity of air and the volume flow rate. I'm randomizing the variable's initial value so that each learner gets a different size retangle or circle, etc.

While working on the formula to determine air velocity, it doesn't look like the variable function allows me to randomize numbers with decimal points.

1 - Is this true or am I overlooking something?

2 - If true, is there another way to randomize numbers between .001 and 2.00?

Thanks,

Peggy
