"The Specified Value is Out of Range" Error Message When Importing PPT

I'm importing a powerpoint, which I've successfully done before, and I'm continuously getting an error message. I get "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem." I select Switch To, choose the size of the pages that I want to import..I've tried all sizes, and then leave Transitions as No Transitions. It imports maybe the first 2 slides then gives me the error message "The specified value is out of range.".....?? Help?! Thanks in advance!
