Haven't had this issue, but I know something that might work.Try to import the movie on another slide/page. If this also crashed you lectora, then you might add a avi-file (which works, you have confirmed) and changing it to a MOV file once it has been added.This might seem a little strange but it would not be the first time some unexplainable things happen in Lectora.
