Question/test/drop box activities

Okay...I think I understand at least your first situation... It sounds to me like you don't want a fill-in-the-blank question type (the point of which is to have an empty text box for the learner to type his reponse in), you want a multiple choice with a drop-down list type of question, right? If so, then create a multiple choice question and select "Display question as Drop-Down List or List Box" on the "Choices" screen of the question wizard (the third screen in, I think). Give that a try and see if it's what you're looking for...I'm still confused about your second issue though -- are you trying to create a drag-and-drop question or a matching question? If you're trying to do a drag-and-drop, then you would put the graphics in whatever order you want them to appear at the initial viewing and then specify where on the drop target they should go to be scored as "correct."
