What kind of system are you running? I know that on some machines, a graphic display may get the shaft when it comes to memory power. If you have at least 2 GB of memory, then I am guessing this is not the problem. How busy is the page? Lots of other images?Just a long shot, but how are your visibility check boxes? When you go to File|Preferences, is the box checked for Show visibility check boxes in the left-hand pane?If that box is checked, then is there an eyeball next to your image in the lefthand side? Usually, a picture is inserted with its visibility in development already turned on. So, I doubt this is your problem, but it helps to cover all bases.I'm stumped, honestly.
