I have a question where the learner is given some steps and they need to number the steps in the order of occurrence.
Example:
Number the steps below in the order that they occur.
___ Burn off carbon
___ Purge reactor
___ Oxidation
___ Remove reactor from service
The order would be 3, 2, 4, 1. Is there a way to create a question where they fill the numbers in the blanks? Or is a matching question the only way to accomplish this? My problem with using the matching question is that it shows the answers as "1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4". What I want the user to see is something more like "1 - Remove reactor from service, 2 - Purge reactor, 3 - Burn off carbon, 4 - Oxidation". Is there a way to do that that is not terribly complicated?
