Question locks course up when published

This is my first course developed using Lectora - so am having a challenge when creating questions. I didn't want a test that judged the response only when they clicked to continue in the course, so I created a question on a separate page that uses a Submit button to present the user with feedback and allows them to answer the question again or to go on using a Next button (which I activate after they have clicked Submit). My question page blocks my course navigation; and I deactivate my course navigation.

All works wonderfully when I test it from my hard drive but when I publish it up to our LMS (Plateau) or test outside the LMS using the html files, the buttons don’t work once the question has been answered… (I had originally inserted a "test" section but then took the questions “out” of the Test chapter and have them on the flowline as a page; I am not sure if that what caused this problem or not.)

It would be nice to get this working without re-doing all of the questions in my course- anyone have suggestions??
