question answering issues with Internet Explorer 11 / SCORM / HealthStream

I am on the most recent version of Lectora (17.0.6). I'm not new to Lectora, but new to my setup at this job. First of all, everything seems to work ok with the newer version of Microsoft's browser (Edge), so I'm guessing the issue lies with Internet Explorer in combination with SCORM and/or HealthStream.
Previewing the course in using IE in ReviewLink works fine
Once I upload a SCORM 1.2 zip file to HealthStream, that is where the issues come into play.
- Have to publish NOT using seamless play, or grading the assessment doesn't work (using standard grade 'check' button, or duplicate and make my own.
- Having non-standard 'Form Elements' for Radio buttons or checkboxes results in user in IE not being able to click on the answer radio buttons (nothing happens)
- Hot Spot questions (using transparent area vs radio buttons does not function)
All of these worked when using Edge browser, but not IE v 11.1884.14393.0 (No compatibility view settings used). So I'm assuming the issue is with an IE setting, but I guess could technically reside in the combo of IE/SCORM/HealthStream.
Any ideas on where I might start my troubleshooting? (I started with removing the seamless play option, using the boring default radio buttons instead of the modern options, and removing the transparent area in the hot spot question - instead used radio buttons, and I was able to get it to function, but would prefer to be able to use some of the more modern features if possible!

Not sure - I only have access to IE and Edge on this machine (but it does work in Edge)

I had to create a new account because my previous email was not accessible... I'm the same guy that created the questions. ; )
