Saba does change the software.I had Saba Pro 6.0 which was equivalent to Trivantis Lectora 2006. Is Saba Pro 7.0 equivalent to Trivantis Lectora 2007 or 2008. If it is equivalent to Trivantis Lectora 2007, then they will not be able to open your courses. I was told at one point that the Saba version is one year behind Lectora's latest version, if this is true, you will have an issue. We decided to just use the Trivantis version to have the latest and greatest. There are a few things we had to implement for courses created with the Trivantis product to work in the Saba LMS. These items were automatically programmed in the Saba version. One item pertains to transferring question text to the LMS after submitting a test for grading and submission to Saba. In Saba Publisher, it automatically does this without an issue when published. If published with the Trivantis version, then you have to update some of the java script to make it work.I need to put my thinking cap on to remember the other items, they tended to deal with things we did not have to worry about, but your client might.
