question about maintenance subcription

How about this... If you don't purchase the Maintenance subscription, my understanding is that, if you want to upgrade to a future version, you'll need to purchase it at a much greater cost (I think even the cost of purchasing Lectora "from scratch").I'm not one to always push to upgrade software -- I always look to see whether the enhancements are compelling enough to warrant the expense. But, in the several years I've been using Lectora, I have ALWAYS found the upgrade to be worth it. For all its faults (and they do have some), the thing I have been most impressed about Trivantis is that they seem to really listen to its customers and are constantly adding features/functions that are truly useful and make Lectora both easier to use and more powerful. I was NOT a fan of Lectora when I first started using it 4-5 years ago, but, because of the improvements they've made along the way, I sure am now!Just my $.02...LauraP.S. By the way, you can see what the first round of upgrades are coming up here: http://www.rwlink.com/trivantis/pdfs/MaintenancePack2.pdfFor me, the Flash and Games library, animation of the Move To action (which I currently have to do manually, using a series of actions), and, potentially, the chart creator (if the charts can be updated via real-time user input) will make the upgrade worthwhile.
