Publishing to HTML and page sizes

Hi all -
I built an interactive decision tree tool in lectora. Basically the user answers a series of questions to determine how they should handle the situation. I then had a request to copy the tool and make some modifications to the new tool to test out some new processes/procedures.
When I publish to HTML the original tool has page sizes of approximately 40KB, the new tool has page sizes of 264KB. And the pages have exactly the same content on them!
Compression is not turned on for either lectora file. I have deleted all unused resources.
Anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening or things I should check??
Thanks,
Jen

No.. it is not responsive. all users access the tool on their computers.
What was the lectora version of the first lesson? V16 adds a tremendous amount of weight in graphics.
There is a noticeable difference in the folder and page size. I would expect the one that is larger to be a little larger because due to the process we were testing there were pages added, but not a significant difference.
When you look at the output folders is there a noticeable difference in size in between one folder or page?
Both tools were built in Lectora 11 I think. It has been a couple of years since they were originally developed. I got Lectora 16 this summer and have done some edits to both tools. One just seems to have larger page sizes when I publish them out.
