Publishing to CANVAS --- SCORM Compliant

I made up a very basic title to test how it publishes to our LMS Canvas. I made a two page title, each page has some text and there is a button on the first page that takes you to the second.

When I published my title to scorm I highlighted the option "The published course will be presented in a separate window than the LMS." However, when I publish my course as a zip file, upload it to canvas and unzip the file the following problems occur:

1. My title template does not appear when I open the file, only the text in my title appears

2. The buttons do not appear for either page when I open my title in Canvas, only the text is on each page

3. The title DOES NOT open in a separate window. I figured if this most basic option is not working then there really must be something wrong.

I tried publishing to all different scorms (i.e. 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 2004) and received the same output each time.
