I have been working for a company for the last year as an eLearning Developer and have produced a number of modules which are available on their website. To do this I have been publishing to HTML then uploading them to the site.
In the past I have always published to SCORM but for some reason this is not possible on our website.
We are about to do some work for an external client who may wish to send out the modules I create for them to clients. The modules will be used by their internal staff (I'm guessing from their LMS which I will find more about) so will be published either to HTML or SCORM. To send out the modules to their clients i have suggested publishing to CD.
My query is why is it not a good idea to publish to single file and email the modules to the clients? I use this way to send modules I am working on to my managers for them to check and he would like to know why this shouldn't be an option?
