Oops! Did I forget to mention that the menu isn't a lectora component? Our Menu is pretty elobarate, as in graphically. It's an image (bitmap) and the topic names are in text boxes (added from Lectora), with transparent buttons over them to make them clickable. Hence, the use of transparent buttons.
Guess that train just hit me.
