We started using the combination of Captivate 2 and Lectora as soon as Captivate 2 became available. I think the combination is perfect for so many types of courses including software simulations, product training, animated stories, etc.I've even used Captivate for the closed captions in a lectora title with the audio embedded in the Captivate movie. It allows me to synch the caption to the audio easily using the timeline. Of course this is only good if your caption box size is larger than the smallest project size allowed in Captivate. We change the skin in Captivate to whatever we want to use, publish the project to Flash (we use Flash 7). We do not export the html. We then insert the .swf that is produced as an animation into Lectora and we're off to the races. On a side note, I tend to produce one Captivate project for each page in Lectora. This helps me in two ways. A) it keeps the Flash file sizes as small as possible, and B) it let's me make edits easily if need be.Anyone else have other ideas? I'd appreciate hearing about your esperiences with this dynamic combination.Hope this helps.
