Protecting Flv in lectora.

SarimahWith the Adobe Flash Media streaming Server 3 you can do this, but you need to make sure that the flash controller you have controlling the video is the one embedded within the course upon publishing. Lectora will work with this.The Lectora protect published content will not protect streaming video. All it does is put some javascript in the pages to prevent people from right clicking on the pages. If the end user breaks the course outside into a new window they can still see the source code by using normal browser functions.The only thing that might be an issue is if you are publishing this to an LMS, you might run into some cross domain issues if it is a locked down LMS (like some I've worked with). In this case, you want to embed the video into a swf file and then encrypt it using some type of software like SWF Encrypt. http://www.amayeta.com/
