I have asked for that before and will support you in your request. I would say, just let the developers work on a real project for a week and see how frustrating it is to work the way things are now. Once you see you have to do things a 1000 times a week like right click or double click JUST to open properties, not even change one, you realize what a waste of time it is.I have asked for that before and will support you in your request.
