Preloading Flash issue

Hi,
I'm noticing when I Replay a page with a SWF on it, an x inside of a square appears top left corner for a brief second before the swf loads. We have a preloader built in, and the preloader box checked in lectora. I noticed that this happens on swfs that are bigger in file siz,e but not on the smaller ones. What's happening you think?
