PowerPoint Integration into Lectora

I did not reply sooner because I was pulled away on other projects and then I thought I was finally getting a handle on this, but I was wrong! Here is what I am working with now. It is closer to hitting the mark than what I was doing when I posted last.I am using PowerPoint 2003. The page size I am using is the standard 10" x 7.5" in landscape. I did a screen capture of my background (just a full-width header and a full-width footer) and pasted that into the master slide in PowerPoint. The resulting image is 8.08" x 4.98" which certainly does not take up the whole PPT slide. My target size in HTML (and in Lectora) is 775 pixels x 475 pixels.I have a standard size and position for my titles and text (as will be used on most pages). My titles are in 14 point and my text is generally in 12 point. To get these positioned properly in PPT, I was using ratios. My Lectora titles should be 18 pixels from the left side and 70 pixels from the top. This converts to 0.19" from the left of the PPT slide and 0.73" from the top of the PPT slide. In Lectora, my title is 744 pixels x 24 pixels. This converts to a size of 7.76" x 0.25" in PPt. In a similar fashion, I converted the position of my primary text box from 18 pixels over and 102 pixels down into 0.19" over and 1.06" down and the size from 744 pixels across x 344 pixels high into 7.76" across x 3.59" high in PPT.I entered a title and some bulleted text in PPT. I also added a graphic…all within the "work area" defined by the image of my Lectora background.I then used the Lectora Integrator to convert these slides to Lectora. When it asked what size I wanted to convert to, I selected 1024 x 768 which almost matched the ratio of my PowerPoint slide (10" x 7.5"). At first glance, it looked OK and I quickly confirmed that the font sizes had not changed in the process. However, when I went to copy the text boxes from the imported Lectora title to my final 775 x 475 title, I discovered that things had gotten bigger. The title text needs to be 744 pixel wide but it was 793 pixels instead. This means I would STILL have to manually adjust the size of the objects (which are otherwise just what I want) to make them fit on my final slides. What am I missing? Ultimately, I need a PPT slide that will correctly convert (with minimal effort) into a Lectora title that is 775 x 475.Lee
