PowerPoint Integration into Lectora

Our plan to use Lectora is to allow subject matter experts to create training presentations in PowerPoint (much as they do already), import these into Lectora, and add the tests and such to make them more interactive prior to publishing. I'm devising standard templates in PowerPoint and in Lectora to ensure these conversions are as simple as possible. My Lectora template has some standard pages at the beginning and end of the training template. Naturally, I want the PowerPoint slides I import (using PowerPoint Integrator) to be as consistent with what I've developed in Lectora as possible. Here is what I have done to this point:I am using the standard Lectora size of 756 x 576. As near as I can tell, this equates to a PowerPoint slide size of 7.875 inches by 6 inches so I've customized my slide size in the PowerPoint template to these dimensions. Next, to account for the difference in font sizes within PowerPoint and the rest of the world, I've increased the font sizes in PowerPoint so they import into Lectora in the desired size (e.g., 18 pt in PPT reduces to 16 pt in Lectora, 13 pt in PPT reduces to 12 pt in Lectora). At least the conversions I'm starting to use are what I've come up with through experimentation.Has anyone else attempted this? If so, were you successful and do you have any tips? Anything I haven't considered? If this has not worked for you, tell me what happened. This is the approach I want to take but I have some fears that I might be wasting my time (for reasons I may not yet understand). Let me know. Thanks.
