PowerPoint import into Lectora

PowerPoint 2007 is not the problem. I recently used Integrator to move a PowerPoint from PPT 2007 into Lectora. However, while in PowerPoint I saved this presentation as a 2003 presentation. The root cause of your concerns is that the Integrator does what the Trivantis person said. It is to move the content into Lectora and then you build the CBT in Lectora. Transitions from slide to slide tend to get transferred into Lectora, but navigation buttons need to be added via Lectora, not PowerPoint, becuase once the PowerPoint is in Lectora the only way to move forward from slide to slide is via the spacebar, without any way to go back a slide.
The Integrator does not bring in the majority of PowerPoint's important attributes: No stylish backgrounds nor font enhancements (e.g. shading, nor shadows). Also, you may find that text boxes shift around and text sizes are different from what was in the PowerPoint. Ultimately, I had to spend hours after integration to return the slides back to something like what I started with in PowerPoint. Apparently, there are steps around many of these problems, but I haven't seen them published.
