Claud, I'm sure you could get this to work. You might experiment with external html objects, for example. You could possibly write and embed a file that pointed to the correct location versus embedding the actual animation file itself. One problem I see is that your path name will have to be hard-coded. If I understand your request correctly, multiple local servers will be used to host the animation files; the server actually contacted will depend upon the location of the learner. If you used the method I suggested above, you would have to have a unique file dropped into the course per location that would call the animation.
