PHP sending variable info ok, but just cannot get it to receive

Hi,

I've spent days going through the forum and google trying to resolve my last issue, but it is critical. I am a newbie to Lectora Publisher, but have used other authorware previously and seem to be picking up the functionality quite well with the help from the forum. There are a few posts on using variables with an external database, but I cannot get the answer to receiving.

I've got it to send info to a mysql database and insert no problem at all.

I cannot for the life of me though, get Lectora to receive a variable from a PHP page so that I can populate a variable in Lectora. All I want it to do is to receive and populate a studentID variable.

Please can someone who has had this problem in the past and resolved it with help from the forum please help with advice. In fact, please can anyone help.
