Page numbering

Ok, that didn't quite work. I probably need to clarify what I need to do better. I have a project that has some just chapters only and some chapters with sections. I want page numbering in chapters, but I also want page numbering in sections. For example, chapter 1 has no sections and is 10 pages long. So, for chapter 1 the page number would be 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc... Then chapter 2 has 2 sections (sec 1 has 3 pages and section 2 has 5 pages). So in chapter 2 I want the page numbering to 1 of 3, 2 of 3 (for sec 1) and 1 of 5, 2 of 5 (for sec 2). Right now if I set it for page numbering in chapters, it doesn't do page numbering if there are sections and if I set the page numbering for sections, it won't do page numbering for chapters. I want it to do both within this project.Is this possible? If so, what would be my variables?Help!!! Thanks
